About Me

Life is full of twists and turns. We all experience a wide range of events, challenges and opportunities throughout our lives and these circumstances can change rapidly and unexpectedly. It is the dynamic nature of life that often brings both moments of joy and success, as well as difficulties and setbacks. We are all here for a purpose and that purpose, as I suppose, is to help the humanity by performing ‘SEVA’, in any possible way. I am Col Vadhera, a retired Indian Army Officer, settled in Dayalbagh, Agra trying in my little ways to make the world a better place for all living beings.

Appeal

Hello friends,
Cancer is a tireless journey, not only for the person fighting it but for the loved ones too. For a cancer patient it is a battle not only for the body but of the spirit too. They face moments of fear and courage, hope, and despair. This brings a reminder of life's fragility. I wanted to run the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 10K but found the registration closed. But then I found a way through United Way Mumbai (UWM). I learned about them and was touched with the work they do, especially for the children battling cancer and thus decided to participate in it. These young and innocent children are facing unimaginable struggles. But, more than hope, these children need resources, support, and care. UWM, not only provides them medical help but also uplifts them emotionally and academically, giving them a chance to experience life beyond hospital walls.
I am supporting this cause, to be able to help these children and their families in fighting this dreadful disease. I feel I am standing with them, helping them to build a future where their dreams and laughter can flourish once again.
My appeal to each one of you is to donate just Rs. 1000 towards this cause to be able to help just a little to ease the pain of the families with kids suffering cancer.
