About Me
Hi, I’m Shenaya, a student passionate about making a difference through both academics and athletics. Alongside my studies and commitment to football, I’m dedicated to supporting causes that bring positive change to my community. Which is why I’m participating in the Tata Marathon for Cuddles Foundation.
I’m raising funds for the Cuddles Foundation because I believe that every child deserves the chance to fight and thrive, regardless of their circumstances. Cuddles Foundation plays a vital role in providing nutritional support to children battling cancer. By joining me in this effort, you’ll be helping these young fighters get the nutrition they need to heal and grow. Thank you for your support!
Appeal
Childhood cancer can be cured. But for children in India, it’s a very different story. Lack of access to timely treatment and malnutrition among those seeking treatment makes survival difficult for children.
~76,000 adolescents (age 0-19) may develop cancer every year in India of which ~ 40% are malnourished at diagnosis. Malnutrition has a serious impact on cancer treatment, because treatments like chemotherapy may lead to side effects, complications, risk of infections, etc.
Cuddles Foundation is India's only NGO dedicated to helping children combat cancer through holistic nutrition. Cuddles has partnered with top government hospitals and charity cancer treatment centers to address the nutrition gap in Indian childhood cancer care. Through their FoodHeals®? Program, Cuddles provides year-round holistic nutrition support to children and their families in 40+ hospitals across India.
The funds raised via Tata Mumbai Marathon will contribute to supporting hundreds of children at our partner hospitals in Mumbai with ration bundles, supplements, meals & counseling.
Every step you take and the donation you make will be a direct source of nourishment, hope, and healing for little cancer warriors who just can’t wait to get well and be kids again.
