About Me
The Juke box has been meeting and jamming for over a year now. While the boys veer towards classic rock, Shania tries and gets a little Taylor Swift in. They each have different strengths which make them a treat to watch. They are looking to play at different venues as a band and raise money for social causes along the way.
Shania has always loved singing. She has been on stage since the age of 5 also having opened a show at the Royal Opera House when she was only 8 years old. Other than singing the two things that she enjoys most are football and playing the piano. She wants to use music as a means of working with mental health.
Arjun is a fun loving jammer and it was no surprise when he discovered his passion for the electric guitar at the age of 8 which matches his vivacious personality. He loves watching and playing sports and is particularly interested in badminton. Arjun is a dedicated food enthusiast and his current dream is to be a food blogger or food critic when he grows up.
Reyansh is a passionate percussionist who has enjoyed playing the drums and the Jambe since he was 8 years old. Drummers like Travis Barker and bands like Imagine Dragons and Coldplay and his favourite especially drummers such as Daniel Platzman. His other hobbies include playing basketball and reading science fiction and mystery books like the Keeper of the Lost Cities.
Ridhaan loves music.
He started of as a key board player and then switched to the guitar. ? I He enjoys English classical singing as well as being the base guitarist
His inclination towards the band is tremendous, however he enjoys his sports too.
Ayesha, the newest member of the band, started playing the piano at 6 and brings her love for both classical and pop music, with influences like Taylor Swift, Coldplay, and Drake. When she’s not at the keyboard, she’s immersed in fantasy worlds like Eragon, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings, or enjoying a game of badminton. Her unique style adds an exciting new vibe to the band.
Nirvaan is an enthusiastic drummer who has completed Trinity grade 6 on the Drums. He particularly enjoys jazz and rock drumming. He started playing when he was 9 years old and he feels that playing the drums allows him to take a break from the outside world and truly focus on music. In his free time he enjoys playing football and is currently studying the IB program in Grade 11 in Bombay International School.
Our band philosophy is that our world without music is just eh…With each member bringing a unique charm, relentless dedication and contagious energy, we hope you revel in our music as much as we enjoyed creating it for you.
