About Me

Hello, I’m Avan Mehta, a 13-year-old student from Dhirubhai Ambani International School. I’m excited to be here today, not just to take on the physical challenge of running a marathon, but to run for a cause that genuinely means a lot to me. I’ve always been passionate about sports, and I put my heart into every race, match, or game I’m part of.

But this marathon is different—it’s about more than just crossing the finish line.

From a young age, I’ve felt a strong connection to causes that make a difference in the lives of others, whether it’s supporting people in need or standing up for animals. I believe that even the smallest actions can create positive change, and I want to do my part, however small, to make things better. Running for a purpose gives me a chance to combine what I love with something meaningful.

Thank you for supporting me on this journey. Together, I hope we can show how the efforts of one person, no matter their age, can help create a more caring and compassionate world.

Appeal

I'm running the Dream Run at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 with the hope of making a difference in the lives of children battling cancer.

I'm supporting the Cuddles Foundation which helps provide children battling cancer with the right food and nutrition. The amount raised will be used to provide ration to children getting treated at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
