About Me
Hi, I’m Ashlesha Bakshi! I’m 17 years old and based in Mumbai. I’ve always been passionate about making a difference, especially when it comes to helping young children. I believe every child deserves a safe, healthy, and happy childhood, and I want to do everything I can to support that.
I’m driven by a desire to create positive change and give back to my community, especially for those who are most vulnerable. Spending time with kids brings me so much joy—they have this incredible resilience and light that inspires me every day. Besides my work with causes like Cuddles Foundation, I have a few hobbies I love, like singing, dancing, acting, and swimming. They all reflect my commitment to learning, growth, and connection.

Help Fuel the Fight Against Childhood Cancer with Cuddles Foundation
Every day, thousands of children in India are fighting a battle with cancer—a battle that requires more than just medicine. For these young warriors, nutrition is extremely critical. Proper nourishment can make all the difference, helping children withstand treatments like chemotherapy, recover faster, and reduce the risk of infections.
But for many families, access to nutritious food is a daily struggle, especially when facing the financial burden of cancer treatment. That’s where the Cuddles Foundation steps in. Cuddles Foundation is the only NGO in India that provides nutrition support to children with cancer, ensuring that they get the strength and sustenance they need to fight this disease.
For me, supporting Cuddles Foundation is a deeply personal choice. I believe that every child deserves a fair chance to fight, to heal, and to live a full life. But for many children diagnosed with cancer, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, this chance can feel painfully out of reach. The financial burden of cancer treatment often leaves families struggling to provide even the most basic necessities, like nutritious food, which is essential for recovery.
I chose to support Cuddles Foundation because they address a critical, often overlooked aspect of childhood cancer treatment—nutrition. They understand that cancer doesn’t just weaken a child’s body; it can also rob them of the strength they need to endure treatment. Through Cuddles Foundation’s programs, children receive customized nutrition care that helps them stay strong, fight better, and recover faster. I’m inspired by their commitment to treating each child with dignity and by their belief that proper nutrition is not a luxury, but a basic right. Knowing that my support can help improve a child's chances of survival and give them hope for the future drives me to be part of this mission.
When you donate, you’re not just giving food—you’re giving strength, hope, and a real chance for recovery. Let’s come together to make a meaningful impact on the lives of these children and their families. Stand with Cuddles Foundation to ensure that no child fights cancer on an empty stomach. Donate now and help fuel the fight against childhood cancer. Every little bit counts and every contribution brings us closer to a world where every child has the nourishment they need to beat cancer.
