About Me
Leprosy is a curable disease, but many still suffer due to stigma and lack of access to proper treatment. Since 1976, Lok Seva Sangam’s Leprosy Program has provided free diagnosis, treatment, and counseling for leprosy patients in Mumbai. Our goal is to restore health, dignity, and hope to those affected by leprosy, offering them a path to recovery and reintegration into society.

Leprosy is more than just a disease—it’s a condition that isolates people, strips away their dignity, and leaves entire families in distress. At Lok Seva Sangam, we refuse to let stigma and fear stand in the way of recovery. Our Leprosy Program, running since 1976, is dedicated to providing free, compassionate care for those affected by leprosy, giving them not just treatment, but the chance to reclaim their lives.
We work to ensure that every patient receives the diagnosis, treatment, and support they need to fully recover. But beyond medical care, we focus on reintegrating these individuals into society, restoring their confidence and helping them overcome the stigma associated with leprosy.
Key Impact:
Over 30,000 leprosy cases have been treated since the program’s inception.
Last year alone, 36,991 patients received skin treatments through our clinics, with 110 new leprosy cases identified and treated.
Our Leprosy Help Centers in the L and M wards of Mumbai offer free, ongoing support to ensure no one is left behind in their recovery journey.
