I’ve immersed myself in various initiatives focused on education, mentorship and animal welfare, always striving to make a meaningful difference. My commitment to uplifting others stems from my belief that everyone deserves a chance to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Supporting the Cuddles Foundation resonates deeply with me because of its mission to provide nutritional support to underprivileged children battling cancer. As someone who values education and equal opportunity, I understand how crucial it is for children to have the strength and resources they need to not only survive but also continue learning and growing during their most challenging times. By partnering with the Cuddles Foundation, I hope to contribute to improving the lives of these children, ensuring that they have the nourishment and care necessary to fight their illness and pursue their dreams.
Appeal
Childhood cancer can be cured. But for children in India, it’s a very different story. Lack of access to timely treatment and malnutrition among those seeking treatment makes survival difficult for children.
~76,000 adolescents (age 0-19) may develop cancer every year in India of which ~ 40% are malnourished at diagnosis. Malnutrition has a serious impact on cancer treatment, because treatments like chemotherapy may lead to side effects, complications, risk of infections, etc.
Cuddles Foundation is India's only NGO dedicated to helping children combat cancer through holistic nutrition. Cuddles has partnered with top government hospitals and charity cancer treatment centres to address the nutrition gap in Indian childhood cancer care. Through their FoodHeals®? Program, Cuddles provides year-round holistic nutrition support to children and their families in 40+ hospitals across India.
The funds raised via Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon will contribute to supporting hundreds of children at our partner hospitals in Delhi with ration bundles, supplements, meals & counselling.
