Hi I am Ritu Chandwani! I work as a Consultant-Manager- Partnerships with Vipla Foundation.
Vipla Foundation has worked for the enrichment of lives of women and children since the last 36 years. In the last 10 years, Vipla Foundation with a presence in Maharashtra, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Goa, and Gujarat, has reached out to 10,00,000+ beneficiaries in the areas of Early Childhood Care, Education, Inclusion, and Women Empowerment, skilling initiatives and more, impacting 11 SDGs. Vipla Foundation works on removing inter-generational cycle of poverty and lack of opportunities in society for all. In 2022-23, Vipla. Foundation impacted 1,86,426 lives.
Through their Dhvani Outreach Program, Vipla Foundation introduced India’s first-ever missed call helpline number, Dial for Dhvani (022-49393333), to ensure a child’s caregiver can seek help for hearing impairment.
I have 20 years experience in HR, Consulting and Social Sector. I have worked with Bayer India, Lowe Lintas, AF Ferguson & Co. My consulting clients included Tata Sons, Aditya Birla Group, Citibank, Mahindra&Mahindra, IDFC, Birla AT&T.
My social sector experience includes Aditya Birla Center of Enriching Lives (ABCEL) a social initiative by the Aditya Birla Group for enriching lives of urban middle class - women returning to work, retired armed personnel and senior citizens. Since 15 years, I have been supporting talented heritage tribal and folk artisans from rural India.
I am always inspired by Mr Ratan Tata to contribute to a better world and help children.

Appeal
I am working with Vipla Foundation, a platinum level NGO registered for the Jan 19, Tata Mumbai Marathon (TMM) 2025. I am part of the Dream Run and raising funds for 3 children with hearing impairment who need 'updated' hearing implants urgently.
1. Vedant Rawool, 19 years. He has hearing impairment since birth. Through Vipla Foundation, he had a cochlear implant and started speaking and listening. Today he has taken admission in Jr. college. Vedanta’s device has stopped working and needs to be replaced. He can barely hear again. The cost needed is Rs. 3,13,920/-
2. Mohammed Raza Qureshi, is 6 years. Mohammed has severe hearing loss. He had a cochlear implant in 2020. His processor stopped working and he needs an upgraded waterproof processor. For his development and academic growth it is key to hear clearly and develop speech too. For the special implant, the cost of the processor : Rs. 6,73,050/-
3. Arbiya Khan f/10yrs currently studying in special care centre.Her cochlear implant surgery done on 21 st march 2017 and then she has been using CI device regularly. She got admission in school in 2022. By using the device she was performing well in academics and other activities. Now, her processor is not working since last 6 months and this is affecting her acdemics and social life too.Her financial condition is not so good.Her Father works as a labourer and is not able to afford the costs of her CI. N7S upgrade cost - 3,12,900/-
