Dr Ahirrao's contributions have been acknowledged globally; he was awarded a gold medal for his research paper on peace and harmony through Vastushastra at an international conference in Mauritius in 2001. His excellence was further recognized at conferences such as Asia–Construction 2001 in New Delhi and a conference on alternative medicines in Colombo, where he was honored with gold medals.

I got introduced to Samskrita Bharati almost 3 years ago. In this span of time, I have experienced the conduct of several programmes of Samskrita Bharati. The direct teaching - without translation, informal / play-way methods, fun learning have created a positive atmosphere necessary for this ancient language to thrive open to the people with its relvance for future as well. Samskrita Bharati is striving to make Samskrit popular all across the mankind without any segmentation or restrictions with aim of making Samskrit a language of conversation. Samskrit has a deep-rooted. practical connect with culture (Samskriti) and upbringing / conduct (Sanskar). If one observes any regional culture in Bharat, it finally relates to the texts and scripts from past, which are all in Samskrit. As a Vaastu expert, Samskrit is necessary to avoid mis-interpretations through translations. This is applicable to all fields and faculties as our literature is full of scientific references valid even today.

Samskrita Bharati conducts its courses regularly with no expectation of wealth-creation. However, financial back up is necessary to create infrastructure, conduct trainings, carry its courses to all parts of society.
