Greetings! Cerebral Palsy is a neurodevelopmental motor disability with related difficulties in functionality. A person with cerebral palsy needs inputs from an inter disciplinary team of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, special educators and vocational trainers.
ADAPT, formerly The Spastics Society of India, has been providing educational and therapy services for the disabled for the last 52 years. ADAPT does not receive government grants and relies on grants, donations and sponsorships to carry on. One way of raising funds is through the Tata Mumbai Marathon, where ADAPT is the Disability Coordinator for the Champions with Disability race.
