Aradhya a three year old child of a labourer Deepak and
househelper Pooja met with an unfortunate accident a few days ago, which
changed her and her family’s life forever. A container of boiling water,
innocently placed in their home, became the cause of unimaginable pain when
Aradhya accidentally slipped, causing the boiled water to pour over her small
body.
Aradhya is now under treatment at Life Line Hospital,
Beed, Maharashtra (2.7 km from Beed Central Railway Station) where
doctors have recommended a Collagen dressing and an extended stay in an isolation
ward. The cost of this life-saving treatment is Rs. 3,50,000 (Rupees
Three Lakh Fifty Thousand Only)
Living in a rented house and already burdened with debt,
Deepak and Pooja have borrowed money to cover the initial treatment costs, but
they have exhausted all their savings.
She’s only three, and
yet she’s fighting for her life. I can’t bear to see her suffer like this.
