Kaveri is one and a half years old. Kaveri’s
father, Shankar, used to work as a florist but now for the past couple of
months, he has been unemployed as he has to take care of his daughter. Kaveri’s mother,
Teja, had to undergo breast surgery at the time of Kaveri’s birth.
Kaveri has not been well since she was nine
months old. It started as a fever, which turned into weekly vomiting and a
low appetite. After taking her to many hospitals, it was finally confirmed that
she had Blastic Plasmacytoid Dendritic
Cell Neoplasm. A rare cancer that
affects fewer than 1,000 people every year. Now she needs chemotherapy and a bone marrow
transplant from Mazumdar
Shaw Medical Centre, Bengaluru, Karnataka (26 km from Bangalore City Railway
Station), which would
cost Rs.22,00,000(Rupees Twenty-Two
Lakh Only).
The savings of the family are running out
but her parents are still willing to fight for their daughter’s life. They have
placed hope in your kindness and generosity. Please don’t let them down, donate
as much as you can and share the fundraiser with all your friends and family
members.
