About Me

Hello, I’m Prarthana Dwivedi Nath. I believe one of life’s greatest blessings is the ability to give others a second chance through organ donation, after death. My late father, Mr. Krishnamurari Dwivedi, had a heartfelt wish to donate his organs, but unfortunately, medical reasons prevented it his wish remained unfulfilled. This inspired me to dedicate myself to raising awareness about organ donation, so others could fulfill this noble cause. Motivated by his belief that "Charity begins at home," I joined MOHAN Foundation as a Public Education Counsellor. I strive to raise awareness in schools, offices, hospitals, and communities, enabling public to understand the power of organ donation and encouraging them to pass on the gift of life.

Appeal

<p>MOHAN (Multi Organ Harvesting Aid Network) Foundation is a non-profit NGO and its mission is to enable the 'Gift of Life' to organ failure patients through life-saving organs.</p><p>I have been working with MOHAN Foundation for the past six years, raising awareness about organ donation. It is during this time that I witnessed firsthand that so many organ failure patients are in dire need of transplants; however they cannot afford it due to high cost of the transplant surgery.</p><p>Anudaan: Making Transplants Affordable is an initiative of MOHAN Foundation, in which we are raising funds to partially support the life-saving transplant surgeries of patients who cannot afford them. So far, under Anudaan, we have been able to help 75+ patients, most of them children, to undergo transplants. This is extremely heartening as they and their families are uplifted and they can go on to lead productive lives, contributing to nation building.</p><p>This TMM 2025, we aim to help 25 patients under Anudaan. I have joined the fundraising efforts to raise funds for Anudaan and I consider it a blessing to be a part of this mission. I humbly appeal to you all to contribute to this endeavour of mine. </p><p>Your generosity will not only transform lives but also leave behind a lasting legacy of kindness and humanity.</p>
