<p>Dear Friends,</p><p> I am thrilled to share that I will be running in the upcoming Tata Mumbai Marathon - 2025, and I am running for a cause that is close to my heart – <b>Sanskriti Samvardhan Mandal (SSM).</b></p><p> Established in 1959 by the visionary Babasaheb Keshav Narayanrao Deshmukh, SSM has been a driving force in holistic rural development in Maharashtra’s Nanded district. SSM’s mission is to preserve the <b>Rich Rural Culture</b> while fostering growth through impactful interventions in <b>Education</b>, <b>Skill Development</b>, <b>Agriculture &</b> <b>Environmental Conservation.</b></p><p> How Your Contribution Will Help?</p><p><b>Education:</b> SSM's five-way approach to education combines formal schooling with tech education, vocational skills, fine arts, and sports. The organization educates 4,000 students annually, empowering rural youth with knowledge and skills for a brighter future.</p><p><b>Skill Development:</b> Through the Udyamita Skill Development Centre, SSM equips over 3,000 rural youth, women, and farmers with technical skills, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship training, ensuring they are ready for the modern workforce and empowering them to start their own businesses.</p><p><b>Agriculture:</b> SSM's leadership in Climate Smart Agriculture and its role in managing the Krishi Vigyan Kendra in Nanded helps farmers improve productivity, profitability, and sustainability. By addressing the challenges of climate change, SSM supports local farmers in building resilient agricultural practices.<br></p><p><b>Natural Resource Management & Rural Development:</b> SSM’s watershed development, soil and water conservation, and afforestation efforts have transformed the lives of over 1 Lakh families in 200+ villages.
