World For All Animal Care and Adoptions is a registered Non-Profit Organization [Reg.no:E-2754 (M)] based in Mumbai which has been working tirelessly towards helping needy animals on the streets for over 14 years through various programs and initiatives. The organization’s mission is to help alleviate the suffering of animals on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, adoptions, sterilization and awareness. The organization has successfully helped lakhs of animals on the streets through these programs and initiatives.
The WFA canine care centre began with the intent to rescue and save the lives of street dogs and to control the population in a humane manner through sterilization. It has the capacity to admit and treat 110 dogs. Out of these 48 dogs are resident dogs who have been rescued over the years in a helpless state, with permanent disabilities, illnesses and cannot survive the harsh conditions on the streets.
We wish to build the shelter to move these permanent residents which helps create a substantial capacity to admit and treat the large number of emergencies in the city as well as creates a safe space to help needy animals in rural Maharashtra who are otherwise neglected and devoid of medical services and care.
As most of our services and facilities are in Andheri, the need and demand in our jurisdiction is high. We want to build a canine shelter in Taque, near Karjat. This shelter will create a safe, long-term environment for them to life the comfortable life they have craved their whole lives. The shelter will finally give them a safe and dignified life they deserve. Being loved is something they have never known, and we aim to give this in abundance.
Funds raised will help WFA build a beautifully equipped and protected space for rescues to live a dignified life.
