Shyamala was a high school teacher for 25 years in Dombivali. She is full-time socially active and is associated with Samskrita Bharati for past more than 2 decades and is currently the Dy Secretary for Konkan Region. Her interest lies in contributing her part of giving back to the society through socio-national initiatives.
Appeal
I believe that education is the foundation for life's success, and it is time to review the methods and connect to the routes. This is why I am supporting the campaign by Samskrita Bharati to take Samskritam to all without any discrimination in a direct method to understand the God's own language without any translation. This exciting social and educational institution is founded on the principles of connecting with the basics to open the rich past treasures of knowledge for a better tomorrow. This campaign will support grassroot education in Samskrit by providing infrastructure facilities across the rural and urban corners. In the past 43 years over ten million students have been touched with the Sambhashan Shibirams conducted by Samskrita Bharati. It is now time to expand the spread, and hence make it effective with empowered support.
