Hi, I am Kevin Jose Ponmany, a professional social worker committed to driving positive change in society through my work. In my free time, I dedicate myself to helping those in need, offering support and care to uplift lives.

Currently, I volunteer at Sant Claret Anath Ashram, an experience that has deeply inspired me. The Ashram’s remarkable work has not only transformed the lives of its residents but also had a profound impact on my own. Through my journey here, I have discovered the true essence of compassion and the immense joy that comes from serving others.

Appeal

I, Kevin Jose Ponmany, volunteer at Sant Claret Anath Ashram whenever I am free. This organization supports those abandoned by society—the destitute, the sick, and the dying. The people brought to the Ashram are often found lying helpless on the streets or abandoned in hospitals. Many are cancer or TB patients, bedridden individuals, or people in the last stages of life. These are individuals who have no one else to care for them.
Over the past two months of volunteering here, I’ve witnessed the extraordinary work they do. Sant Claret Anath Ashram becomes their family. It provides them with a place to rest, receive medical care, and experience compassion in their final days.
Currently, the Ashram is home to 175 people in dire need of support. For the first time, it is participating in the Mumbai Marathon to raise funds for the cause of the dying destitutes in our society. I request everyone’s support in contributing generously to this cause. Having volunteered here and witnessed the beautiful work the Ashram does, I can assure you that every penny you donate will be used entirely for the service of the dying destitutes.
