About Me

Hi friends, I am a psychologist working for the last 25 years in various fields within Psychology. I truly believe in Prevention is better than cure. Hence I have worked across various causes focusing on preventive interventions be it HIV prevention, career counselling and Skills development. Currently I am President at Mpower.

My own mental health journey after a personal tragedy made me realize how important it is to seek help at the right time and with the right professional

My life purpose aligns with the vision of Mpower and I am very proudly and courageously participating in the TATA marathon for the very first time.

Requesting all my friends and family to join me and support the cause of Mental Health through the work done at Mpower by generously contributing to reach my fundraising goal in this season of Joy and giving.

Appeal

This year, I am participating in the TATA Mumbai Marathon, walking for a cause that truly matters - mental health. Mental Health impacts every aspect of our lives, from individual well-being to the economic and social growth of our communities and nation. Yet, for many, access to professional mental health support remains out of reach.

Through this initiative, I aim to raise funds to make mental health services accessible to those who need them the most. The proceeds will support underprivileged individuals by providing free counseling and therapy along with continued operations on Mpower’s toll-free mental health helpline, ensuring help is just a call away to all those who are in need of mental health care.

Every step I take in this marathon is dedicated to creating a future where no one struggles alone and everyone has the opportunity to lead a fulfilling life. Together, we can break the stigma, raise awareness, and prioritize mental health as a critical pillar of our society.
