About Me

Passionate about Running and catalyzing societal change. I supported my friends for a project to raise funds to build homes for 25 widows from farmer suicides. Continue to support the initiative of ABBF in building a training center in Pune. Those experience was an eye opener to the need and ability we have to create an inclusive world.

I have pledged to run TMM this year in support for the cause of Inclusion for person with disability through Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF). ABBF has done some great work and have seen the impact they are making and am very enthused to partner with them through my time, experience and resources !

Appeal

As you all are aware that I try to take up some of the area for support while I participate in one of the key event TATA Mumbai Marathon, this year I chose to raise fund for Bringing orthotic and prosthetic support to underprivileged Indian children with disabilities, so they are not held back by physical limitations.
Every child deserves the chance to walk, to run, to play. In India, thousands of children living below the poverty line are deprived of this fundamental joy due to disabilities that can be overcome with proper orthotic and prosthetic support. The teams at ABBF and Rise Bionics believe in a future where no child is held back by physical limitations. That's the reason we created Help A Child Walk. For many children with disabilities, daily life can be harder than it is for most others. But together, we can change this. Your donation to Help A Child Walk can be the first step towards a child’s new life - a life where they are not defined by their physical limitations but empowered to pursue their dreams.
ABBF is a Not for Profit founded on the belief that adventure and outdoors have the power to positively transform people. ABBF brings expertise and capability to enable PwDs and able bodied people not just participate but also interact together and these inclusive adventures have shaken up social biases, sparked off empathy and inspired Inclusion.

The Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025 will have a special Inclusion category within the 10 Km run where many PwDs will run in partnership with senior corporate leaders as allies. This is a first of its kind event ever and promises to create visibility and awareness for the cause of inclusion of PwD's into the mainstream.

I have seen first hand the impact being made and together we are creating a holistic model to address the challenges faced by PwD's right from societal apathy to lack of infrastructure, education and skilling.

Me and my friends are committed to supporting ABBF through not just fund raising but helping create this end to end model that will catalyze the Inclusion of PwD's. I hope you will join this movement !
