Appeal

I am back with my annual appeal.

Cancer isn’t just a disease; it’s a relentless adversary that impacts entire families. Here’s what I’ve witnessed up close:

Cancer cells become the smartest—and deadliest—part of the body, consuming it from within.

The toll isn’t limited to the patient. Families bear the emotional and financial weight, watching their loved ones suffer.

The cost of cancer care is staggering, often draining lifetime savings. No amount of insurance seems enough, especially for those without coverage or with limited economic means. Imagine the families who lack even basic support.

When cancer strikes, every ounce of support counts—not just for treatment, but to give strength to the family left to pick up the pieces. This struggle is painfully real for so many, and it fuels my drive to help those who are less fortunate in their fight.

This January, I’ll be running my 6th full marathon at the Tata Mumbai Marathon to support Tata Memorial’s mission of providing affordable care for cancer patients, especially those in need. Even a small donation can bring comfort to someone in the midst of this battle.

Will you join me? All donations will receive a tax exemption certificate, and United Way Mumbai ensures that 100% of the funds donated online go directly to the beneficiary NGO, Tata Memorial Hospital.
