About Me
Hello, I am Jaya Jairam. The cause of Organ donation is deeply personal to me as I underwent a kidney transplant in 2010.
Armed with an engineering degree and a Post-Graduation in Finance, I was thriving in the corporate sector, when end stage kidney failure turned my life upside down. After a brief period on dialysis, my mother donated her kidney, giving me the ultimate gift of life. I will always be grateful for this second chance, but the trauma of battling kidney failure has left a lasting impact on me.
In 2016, I made it my mission to support others facing similar struggles. I joined MOHAN Foundation, where I work tirelessly to help those suffering from organ failure and help them access the life-saving transplants that they need.
Appeal
Join me in making a difference this TMM 2025!
I am running to raise funds for underprivileged patients in need of life-saving transplants. Organ donation has meant a profound celebration of life for me as it gave me a second chance, and I am
forever grateful. However, many are still battling end-stage organ failure, awaiting the same opportunity for a new beginning. For over 27 years, MOHAN Foundation, an NGO has been on a remarkable mission to ensure that every Indian suffering from organ failure receives the precious
gift of life through transplants. An initiative of the Foundation, especially close to my heart is Anudaan - Making Transplants Affordable, which helps economically underprivileged patients, who otherwise cannot afford the procedure. Through Anudaan, MOHAN Foundation has supported more than 75 patients, mostly children, get kidney, liver, heart and corneal transplants.
I am hoping to raise funds to help children, young adults and women in dire
need of transplants, so that they not only survive, but thrive and go on
to live fulfilling lives, contributing to society.
Together, we can give them the second chance they deserve!
