Appeal
Have you ever felt directionless in life such that you don™t understand what should and should not be done in life? You may have but you may also have had luxury of getting out of it by conveying your feelings to an experienced person you know such as parents or friends. However, it is not the same with everyone.
While strolling by roads, quite often we come across slums, seeing slum children play. Mind may naturally ponder as to how would be the life of these children, who may not be receiving any proper education and have no one to counsel them. Anyone who delves deeper into their situation would get exposed to the harsh truth that they may not have any direction in life for development and none to show one. They deserved much more, is what became my strong opinion.
Hence, I Mihir Sanghavi, currently employed with TCS, decided to be a fund raiser for an NGO, Touching Lives. The main impediment in growth for such children is lack of resources and main aim of Touching Lives is to provide them with resources and mentors to guide them in life™s journey and to fulfill their dreams. Touching Lives not only work with their education but also provide holistic mental and physical care.
I have been associated with Touching Lives since last 6 years and have personally seen the potential and perseverance to succeed in these children.
With all my heart, I appeal you to join hands, contribute to this cause, to the extent possible, for the better future of our children and society.
