Reporting to: Senior Manager, Climate Action 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage diverse projects related to environmental initiatives, focusing on pollution control, energy management, sustainability, the circular economy, carbon credits, and other important environmental topics.
  • Understand and develop the project objectives, deliverables and create the execution plan for the project in accordance with the logical framework
  • Oversee the execution of the project in alignment with the overall project timelines and maintain track of the same
  • Identify and build partnerships with sector expert organizations/ agencies and relevant stakeholders (from government, private agencies, NGOs, etc.) to create strategic alliances and successful execution
  • Manage the team in terms of division of responsibilities, development and monitoring of their Key Result/ Performance Areas
  • Develop, train and manage the team to enhance their efficiency and performance
  • Liaise and manage relationships with the internal and external stakeholders of the project such as; Government agencies, expert agencies, civil society groups (colleges, NSS, University of Mumbai, NGOs, citizens groups, etc.)
  • Develop expert knowledge on the subject matters of various projects in order to be able to provide suitable guidance and directions to the relevant project teams
  • Document the project activities and outcomes on regular basis and submit the project status reports to the donors as per the committed timelines
  • Maintain track of fund utilization and submit fund utilization reports to the donors as per timelines agreed

Profile Requisites: 

  • Masters degree in Social Sciences/ Management/ or any other relevant stream
  • Minimum of five years of work experience- especially in project design, on-ground implementation and management of large scale projects, monitoring and evaluation, etc.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of various tools for project management such as; project design and planning, logical framework, stakeholder mapping, liaison with external stakeholders (such as; government agencies, corporates, citizensâ€â„¢ groups and NGOs), conducting need assessment, baseline assessment, developing implementation plan, monitoring and evaluation, documentation and reporting of impact as well as find utilization, etc.
  • A dynamic and versatile person who can easily connect and effectively work with internal and external stakeholders of the project
  • Efficient in Community Outreach and Mobilization
  • Must be fluent in communicating in English and Hindi with excellent written & oral skills (efficiency in Marathi will be an added advantage)
  • Candidate must be a team player and should be willing to travel anywhere in India, if required, for implementing program activities

 

Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience, & merit. Salary range is INR 9 LPA to 13 LPA
