Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for
caregivers on dementia care, covering topics such as patient
communication, daily care techniques, behavioural management, and
emotional well-being.
- Ensure training aligns with the
certified curriculum developed by UWM.
- Engage with caregivers from
underprivileged communities, using interactive and culturally appropriate
teaching methods.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations
and practical skill-building exercises to enhance caregiver competencies.
- Assess caregivers’ learning
progress and provide feedback to improve their caregiving skills.
- Collaborate with healthcare
professionals, organizations, and stakeholders to strengthen the training
program.
- Document detailed records of
training sessions and participants for program tracking and improvement.
- Travel to various training
locations across Mumbai to ensure accessibility for caregivers.
- Support program evaluation by
assisting with data collection, feedback sessions, and impact assessments.
- Undertake additional
responsibilities as required to enhance the effectiveness of the training
program.
Profile Requisites
- Graduation in Social Sciences, Nursing,
Psychology, or a related field. A background in dementia care, geriatric
care, or health education is preferred.
- Proven experience of 5 years in
training, capacity building, or health education, particularly in dementia
care or caregiving.
- Strong communication skills in
Hindi and Marathi, with the ability to simplify complex information for
caregivers.
- Experience in working with
community-based organizations, healthcare institutions, or training
programs.
- Ability to conduct both
theoretical and practical training sessions in a structured and engaging
manner.
- Willingness to travel across
Mumbai for training sessions.
Remuneration - Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit; the consultancy fees range is 35000 to 40000 per month
