Project Period: 1st May 2024 - 30th June 2025

Job Responsibilities:

Manage activities, deliverables of POSHAN project to achieve malnutrition free villages under the Project area:

  • Facilitating activities to improve the status of malnourished children through appropriate community based management approach & interventions at ground level in the communities identified in a given district. 
  • Create specific plans for execution of the projects on a daily basis in alignment with the overall project timelines to cover 100 villages in the respective district/s.
  • Manage the project team in terms of division of responsibilities, development and monitoring of their Key Result/ Performance Areas 
  • Facilitating periodic refresher trainings for field staff and providing mentorship in carrying out Project activities.
  • Ensure proper anthropometric and other data collection regularly for monthly growth monitoring of children in the Project area and timely referral to higher centres, as needed.
  • Coordination with Project team members to ensure counselling of community members,  high  risk  mothers,  family  members   of  SAM  children  to reduce malnutrition
  • Coordinate with and strengthen various community level bodies to facilitate convergence for achieving quality mother and child care and malnutrition free villages.
  • Liaise, communicate, interact effectively and manage partnership with the internal and external stakeholders of the project such as; Government agencies (Public health departments, municipal authorities, health institutions etc.), private players (various expert agencies working on the project), civil society groups (NGOs, citizen’s groups, etc.) 
  • Develop/ possess detailed knowledge on the project causes and be able to guide the project team and give inputs to all the project partners.
  • Facilitate periodic review and networking meetings with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Document the project activities and outcomes on regular basis and submit the project status reports to the donor as per the committed timelines 
  • Financial reconciliation and reporting of the project activities

Profile Requisites: 

  • Graduates, preferably from social sciences background.
  • Passionate about program implementation
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Proficient in basic computer skills- MS word and Excel operations and presentations
  • Good in interpersonal communication and organizing field based program
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in teams collaboratively 
  • Demonstrable experience in program implementation, monitoring and evaluation
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience.
  • Open to travel and field visits.

Remuneration: Subject to relevant qualification, experience & merit, the salary range is INR 4 LPA to 5.4 LPA.
