The Nalanda Foundation was established in 1998 in Mumbai, to assist children with Learning Disabilities (LD) by providing an effective educational infrastructure. Nalanda also provides alternative assessment, training and consistency programs to support children with Learning Difficulties in mainstream schools.
The Nalanda Program provides an alternative learning environment for children having learning difficulties from Std V onwards. Students exit the program through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) secondary examination(X Std.)
