About NGO:
An NGO Paryavaran Mitra was constituted as a society on the 24th September 2004. It has its headquarter at Shikoabad in Uttar Pradesh.

Paryavaran Mitra's main objective is to work in the direction to prevent air, water, land and sound pollution, so as to make this world a better place to live for our future generations. To attain this noble objective, Paryavaran Mitra has been undertaking various activities such as Tree plantation, development of small forests, green belts, Nursery Development,  Organic Farming -Organic Manure, Organic fruits & medicinal plants, Water conservation through- rain water harvesting and revival of ponds and water bodies, Anti Tobacco Drives.  In pursuit of this very objective, it has also been conducting various awareness programs viz. Training to farmers and students on environmental issues; education on importance of clean environment; wall writings, rallies and seminars, street plays, campaigns against use of plastic & tobacco, noise pollution, etc.  It also exchanges information on environmental issues with other NGO's & jointly works with them on environmental projects.

Fund Usage:

1. Planting of trees and maintaining the same.

2. Awareness messages on environment protection through wall paintings/hoardings etc.

3. Holding Seminars/Workshops for creating the awareness on how to reduce noise, water, land & air pollution, Segregation of garbage and stop using plastic.

4. Promoting the use of organic food. 5. Street Plays

6. Promoting the Environment friendly and Energy saving products like CFL and LED lights.

The annual total expenditure on these activities is Rs. 15 to 20 lacs, which is basically generated through donations and sponsorships. We are registered under section 80G(vi) of Income Tax Act, 1961.
