Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon
United Way of Mumbai is the Charity Partner for Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon from 2009 onwards. This event is not only a celebration of people putting themselves to the test physically and mentally, but has also metamorphosed into a medium to raise funds for charity. The Charity Partner serves as a Philanthropy Exchange for various charities and non-profits.
Role of the Charity Partner -
- Facilitating & supplementing pledge raising efforts of individuals, companies and NGOs
- Creating, building and communicating the Charity Structure
- Work on all aspects of Charity like registrations, race day logistics, communications and receiving donations.
- Accounting & Reconciling Pledges
- Disbursement of funds to beneficiary NGOs
- 80G receipts to all donors
