Colgate Palmolive India Ltd. - a world leader in oral care has been conducting Oral Health Month every year since 2004.This year, Colgate Palmolive provided Free Dental Check Ups to NGOs during the Oral Health Month in October 2009. In this mega event, the role of United Way of Mumbai was to contact various NGOs for participating in the programme and coordinating the same with the help of Colgate. Dental camps were organized across the city in 13 locations over 5 days in the month of October. As a result 2050 people benefited from the program.

Maharashtra Nature Park: Employees of JP Morgan CCS and slum children in a trip which involved an environmental video presentation, a walk through the beautiful wooded area learning about different plants, trees, insects and reptiles and environment conservation techniques.

Bank of America Cares for Children:
United Way of Mumbai supported Bank of America to organize a Days of Caring activity with Sahaara Charitable Society on 25th July 2009. 15 Bank of America employees spent some memorable time with the kids at a Computer Training Center of the NGO. They played with these children and also distributed some snacks and chocolates to them.


The objective of the visit was to understand the organization better and also to share some memorable experiences with the kids.
A similar activity was carried out by some other group of enthusiastic employees on 21st March, 2009.

J P Morgan CCS celebrates World Environment Day:
On the occasion of World Environment Day, JP Morgan CCS employees in partnership with United Way of Mumbai and P-North Municipal Ward Office, carried out a Clean-Up drive on 5th June 09, in Chincholi Bandar Junction Road, Malad (West).

The drive saw participation of 60 employees who came out on the streets and cleaned the locality for a better quality living. They made provision of 6 litter bins and also interacted with the fellow citizens and shopkeepers to make them realize the importance of cleanliness and preserving the environment.


J P Morgan GKN:
On 28th February 2009, United Way of Mumbai facilitated the Days of Caring event with J P Morgan GKN employees. A picnic was organized for the kids of Muskaan- Sharing Smiles to Sanjay Gandhi National Park; Boravli, where the Children joyfully spent a full day with the Employees of JP Morgan.
